Day 1: Brisbane (Meeanjin)

Today board your boat and leave the city behind on a relaxing 1.25 hour cruise to Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. Enjoy an informative commentary from your captain and morning tea as you glide along Brisbane’s waterfront, passing from the bustle of the city’s skyscrapers to leafy suburbs with waterside mansions. Arriving at Lone Pine where you will have time to explore the world’s largest koala sanctuary, with more than 130 Koalas on site. Have a Koala Moment (no hold), take photos with the adorable marsupials (own expense), and perhaps catch a talk by the koala’s keepers. Discover the Platypus House or check out the owls, kites and sea eagles at the popular Birds of Prey show. You can also feed the kangaroos and wallabies or watch a sheepdog show where you see the hardworking dogs round up a herd of sheep, responding to their master’s whistles, calls and hand signals. Then sit back and relax on your 1.25 hour journey back to Brisbane city.

Located just north of Cairns, Port Douglas offers a sophisticated and low-key escape for travellers in an unpretentious and relaxed tropical environment. Shop in the boutique clothing stores, dine in the exquisite alfresco restaurants and enjoy the islands and coral cays of the nearby Great Barrier Reef. A visit to Four Mile Beach is essential where you can laze away the day on the pristine sand. Port Douglas is also a popular base from which to explore the rainforests of the Wet Tropics, Daintree and Cape Tribulation. Flagstaff Hill Walking Trail is an easily accessible summit that serves as Port Douglas’ ultimate viewing point, providing majestic, sweeping views of the sandy Four Mile Beach below as well as the surrounding mountain and sea panorama. The lookout is accessed via steps at 4 Mile Beach’s north end.
The property is located on the restaurant and shopping strip of Port Douglas and is 400 metres from Four Mile Beach. The Mediterranean style boutique apartments are set around a courtyard surrounded by tropical gardens. Your tour commences with a transfer from your hotel to the Crystalbrook Superyacht Marina, where you will board your vessel. You can sit back and relax on the beautiful yacht and set sail to the Coral Cays of Mackay or Undine Reefs. You will enjoy an authentic sailing experience, following the coastline and views of the Daintree mountains. Once at the protected sites at the Coral Cays, nature activities will include snorkelling over the pristine coral reef with a qualified marine biologist offering reef interpretation on a guided snorkel tour. A glass bottom boat coral viewing tour is also on offer. Premium reef sites showcase abundant marine life, including encounters with turtles and an amazing display of giant clam gardens, beautiful corals and a wide variety of fish. This 8 hour tour travels north along the scenic route via Mossman to Cape Tribulation. Travel to the majestic Daintree River, where you will stop to enjoy an informative river cruise. Ascend the Alexandra Range and experience the rainforest on an elevated National Park Boardwalk with ample time for photographs and questions as you search for the elusive, rare and totally unique Southern Cassowary and other wildlife species. Continue your journey along 7 kilometres of the 4WD Bloomfield Track to Emmagen Creek with time for a refreshing swim. Stop at Cape Tribulation Beach, where there is time for a short stroll along the beach and boardwalk to the photographers platform overlooking the mountains and coast where the 'Rainforest meets the Reef. Return south, crossing the Daintree River by cable ferry and return to Port Douglas, where you will be transferred to your Port Douglas area accommodation.Day 8: Daintree National Park
Full Day Mossman Gorge Adventure Day | Accommodations: Villa San Michele in a One Bedroom Apartment.Includes: Breakfast. Hotel pick up and drop off, traditional smoking ceremony, guided rainforest walk in the Upper Gorge, lunch, river drift experience, all safety equipment.
This 8 hour tour will enable you to immerse yourself in a rainforest experience like no other! After being collected from your accommodation you will travel to Mossman Gorge to experience a traditional Kuku Yalanji smoking ceremony; you will be cleansed of bad spirits and have traditional rainforest body paint applied. Explore the Daintree National Park during a 1.5 hour interpretive walk, which will leave you with a deeper understanding of this breath-taking rainforest. After lunch, travel to the Mossman River for a one of a kind River Drift tour; a unique experience that offers a blend of hiking and serene river floating in the lush rainforest of the Mossman River. You will return to Port Douglas, where you will be transferred to your accommodation.Day 9: Port Douglas
