DAY 1 - Departure from Toronto

You will be met at the gate by your escort, Betty Shukster as you begin your journey to Croatia. You will be flying with LOT Polish Airlines on their Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft to Warsaw which will connect with flight to Dubrovnik.

DAY 2 - Arrive Dubrovnik

Welcome to Croatia today. Arriving at approximately 6:10 pm. You will travel to Tivat upon arrival. The drive is about 2.5 h. Check in at the Regent Porto Montenegro. Enjoy a late Welcome dinner this evening.

DAY 3 - Kotor Fjord Tour

Travel along the coast of Europe's most southerly fjord, the Bokarska Kotor, to reach the historic city of Kotor, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The city is surrounded by impressive medieval bulwarks that extend up to the fortress of Sveti Ivan. You will enjoy a walking tour of the town on which you will see the Watch Tower {Sat Kula}, the 12th-century Cathedral of St Tripun, the Church of St Luc, and the 17th-century Prince's Palace. Afterwards proceed to the little town of Perast that is situated at the foot of St. Elijah Hill {873 m}, opposite the narrow Verige strait, where the innermost bays of Risan and Kotor converge. From there you will have a great view over the Verige straits and the small island of Our Lady of the Rocks that was built artificially by scuttling old ships and depositing stones around a small crag. Enjoy a short cruise to the islet, where you will be having a short opera concert privately held for your group.

DAY 4 - The Mountains of Montenegro

Drive over the Lovcen Mountain to Njegusi. The curvy road continues to so-called smaragdine valley hidden deep in the stony terrain of Lovcen, the cradle of bishops and rulers from the Petrovic Dynasty. We make a stop at the restaurant to taste the famous Njegusi cheese, smoked ham, mead and wine. A journey through "the sea of stone" leads to Cetinje the Old Royal capital of Montenegro, a place that has best preserved the spirit and tradition of the Montenegrin people. You will visit the National Museum of Montenegro located in King Nikola I's former residence, and the monastery whose fence was made out of the barrels of captured enemy rifles in 1450. You will finally visit Budva, one of the oldest settlements on the Adriatic Sea that dates back to the 5th century BC. The walls encompass a lively town that boasts many small shops, restaurants and cafes.

DAY 5 - Konavle Hinterlands to Montenegro

From Montenegro you will be transferred to Dubrovnik trough Konavle region, one of the most spectacular and renowned areas of the region. Drive through the cypress trees and olive groves to a 500 year old water mill where we will be introduced on a traditional way of flour milling. Traditional snack of prosciutto and cheese, with the homemade under the iron bell bread will be served here. Stop in the picturesque town of Cavtat. Your guide will take you to visit the Raci: Mausoleum, designed by the famous Croatian sculptor Ivan Mestrovi:, and Bogisic's Collection. Cavtat also offers both a 4-mile promenade and paths through pine forests only a few yards from the sea. Check-in at the Kompass Hotel. Rest of the afternoon at leisure. Do not miss the chance to look a fantastic sunset over the Grebeni and walk this bay waterfront.

DAY 6 - Dubrovnik

Become one of the witnesses of Dubrovnik's rich history and discover its magnificent buildings, palaces and treasures including the city walls and a ride on a cable car for some spectacular views of Dubrovnik. This morning is reserved for exploring and enjoying in your Pearl of Adriatic - the old town Dubrovnik. The great George Bernard Shaw and many others have been overjoyed by the beauty and rich history of this old town under the UNESCO protection. From the Onofrio fountain to the City bell tower, along its main street, Stradun and in many other small and quiet cobblestone streets, every step in this town will be an experience par excellence. You will visit the Rector's Palce, Franciscan monastery, Dominican monastery and cathedral. After the tour the remiinder of the afternoon is at leisure Do not miss a chance to go to the top of the Srd moutnine with the cable car for some splendid views.

DAY 7 - Lokrum

Travel by boat to visit to the island of Lokrum which sits just off the coastline near Dubrovnik. After arriving, visit the Botanical Gardens founded in 1959; he large collection comprises native and imported tropical and temperate plants from all over the world. Also take time to explore the innumerable rocky beaches and the salt lakes. Sit and watch the cruise ships and the peacocks on the beach, walk around the monastery and climb up to the old fortress. The views from the fortress are wonderful, including an excellent panorama of Dubrovnik's Old Town. You can watch the light change on the city walls and enjoy a cocktail at the end of the afternoon before returning to the mainland.

DAY 8 - Transfer to Split via Ston

Today you are heading towards North part of Dalmatia, to Split - the biggest town on the coast and home to Diocletian's Palace. You will stop at little town Ston on the beginning of the Peljesac peninsula, known for the fortification complex dating from the 14th century and quite unique in its length of 3,5 miles. You won't miss the opportunity to taste those fruits of the sea depths. Oyster tasting and harvesting on the sea farm from the boat in Ston followed by light lunch and great local wines is one of the most memorable experiences while in Croatia. Peljesac area is a second biggest wine growing area in Croatia where you will visit the small local wineries, mostly famous for its Posip and Plavac, In the late afternoon, you will arrive to Split.

DAY 9 - Split and Trogir UNESCO Heritage Site

After breakfast, enjoying a private guided tour of Split city centre, get to know this dynamic city that has evolved over the centuries to the now bustling city that it is today. Start the tour by visiting the open food market where you will pick your lunch ingredients. While you visit the Diocletian Palace in the heart of Split and also a priceless monument included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage the lunch will be prepared for you in the small UJE bar located within the Diocletian palace. Following the footsteps of ancient Romans we will get to ancient town Trogir. The old heart of the city, with a well preserved castle, tower and other buildings and palaces has been included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage. While in Torgir you will visit the most famous croatian designer for Dalmatian tuxedos. This evening enjoy the heart of Split on your own on the famous Split waterfront or Riva where you will feel the friendly and cozy atmosphere of this vibrant city.

DAY 10 - Krka National Park and Sibenik

The tour starts in Skradin when you board the public boat that takes you under the waterfalls of Skradinski buk. Krka National Park is one of the most fascinating regions of Croatia! This amazing river carved a spectacular canyon on its 70 kilometers journey from the foothills of Dinara Mountain to the amazing estuary under the walls of historic Sibenik. After this memorable walk enjoy a lunch at the domestic household before you proceed to Sibenik. Cathedral Sveti Jakov, built back to 1434, is an important architectural Renaissance building in Croatia that is listed by Unesco World Heritage. Sibenik's cathedral is one of the marvels of the Dalmatian Coast, not to be missed as well as the town hall, the churches of St. Barbara and St. Fran.

DAY 11 - Transfer to Hvar by ferry

This morning after breakfast you will be privatly transfered to Hvar by public ferry. Upon arrival to Stari Grad enjoy a short walk in this picturesque town. You will drive a short distance to Hvar and check into your hotel Adriana. You will enjoy maginficant sea view rooms. Later this afternoon explore the bueities of Hvar with your local guide who will escort you on a sightseeing tour of the town which is best known for its medieval buildings which are the legacy of four centuries of Venetian rule. You will also visit the Cathedral and the Arsenal followed by a pleasant walk on Hvar Town's stone-paved harbour front, the Venetian piazza and yacht harbour with views across the sparkling Adriatic Sea. At the end of the tour relax in one of the many city open terraces and enjoy a cup of tea with the dignitary who lives on Hvar his whole life.

DAY 12 - Hvar Island Tour

A full day of wine and great food visiting two of Croatia's premier wineries, followed by a delightful olive grove picnic! From hidden coves on the coast to lush vineyards in the heart of the island, enjoy a jeep safari packed with an exciting array of spectacular landscapes and azure vistas. Drive to the highest point of Hvar, St. Nikola's peak. Later you will visit an olive grove in picturesque middle Hvar Island village overlooking a UNESCO World Heritage Site where you will enjoy a fantastic picnic prepared just for you. Your meal will be prepared in a traditional island way, cooked over an open fire and served by the island's best olive oil producer Mr.Borivoj Bojanid.

DAY 13 - Hvar Leisure Day

DAY 14 - Hvar to Dubrovnik via Narona

Today you are heading back towards South part of Dalmatia, to Dubrovnik the Pearl of Adriatic. On your way to Dubrovnik drive trough the beautiful area of Neretva river delta known by its flourishing fauna and flora as well as ancient and unique historical and cultural sites. Visit the excavation of ancient Narona from 1st/2nd centuries where ramparts, temples, and a forum have been covered by the mud from the river for centuries. We suggest that you try local delicacies in one of the many on the river restaurants. Enjoy a Farewell Dinner

Day 15 - Departure

You will be privately transferred to Dubrovnik airport for your flights back home.
